300 WORD REFLECTION

Posted in Special Project on April 9, 2008 by jhaddad

I have used second life for eleven weeks in term 1. I have learnt how to create shirts and objects and how to use second life and what is it about. I have also learnt a little bit about photoshop and how it is similar to paint and how to design images from websites and put it in photoshop and editing it to what I want it to look like and how I can put it in the second life account. My strength is findind the pictures and putting it in photoshop, my other strenght is knowing how to use secondlife and what are the keys to use to move the person. My weaknessess are using photoshop because sometimes I do not know what i am using and how to use things when i need. I sometimes don’t know what things are what and how to  find the back of a football jersey. The thing i like about special project is that you get to meet other people and you learn how to make an account and how to create objects on special life and the other things i like it making objects and characters and help others and buying and selling objects and using other people’s object when they let you use it. The things i do not like about special project is that you are not allowed to use other people things if they have lock the object and i also hate start off with no money at the bigining of the second i reckon we should have money at the start so that we could buy things and sell them. Skoolborate is a good program to help people how to create games and how to use the games and i think special project is good because it gives you a break from the other subjects

Individual Task 4 – Ethical principles Watch the following clips on the Dalia Lama:

Answer the following questions on your blog:

1.) Give a brief description of who the Dalai Lama is? (Include resources to support)

Dalai Lama was a Tiberian Leader who had to resign because of a riot. In the atricle it says THE Dalai Lama said today he would resign as Tibetan leader if the situation went out of control in Tibet, and he denied accusations from China that he was inciting violence.

2.) Evaluate how the actions of the Dalai Lama in regard to the riots in Tibet would be regarded as exemplary moral integrity.
He did the right thing by resigning because if he kept on going it would be a bigger riot

Individual Task 3 – Ethical principles Watch the following clip on Maximillian Kolbe:

=
1.) Define the term ‘moral integrity’
Moral integrity is a complex and subtle ethical impression

2.) Describe why Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity.

Because he did what was right, he was a priest in the church and he listen to confessions and sins and he forgave them.

3.) Outline Maximillians ethical actions/principles that he demonstrated in Auschwitz.

He forgave the sin and he smuggled bread to help the starved and he help people who was less fortunate then he was.

4.) Evaluate whether you think he made the right decision and provide research to support your answer. i.e. Catholic teachings.

Yes he did make the  right because he was a Jesus like person and he gave his life for a man he did not even know because that is what Jesus did for all of us.
