  • The purpose of youtube is used by downloading videos to internet.2.) Discuss how collaborative media sites such as youtube, myspace and bebo have changed the current boundaries of media such as news, advertising ect.Because it some peole sometimes don’t even know who they are talking to .

    plenty of things have been add for example Myspace and bebo etc like all broadcasting and social community sites.

    Journal 61.) Define the term “Moral Maturity”

    The meaning of moral maturity is  depth and consistency  of  moral judgement2.) Read the following article:

    Discuss the reasons why the 25 year old man mentioned in the article would be regarded as having a lack of ‘moral maturity’.

    Because he didn’t won’t to get caught because he was going to get punished and he was scared that if he turned himself in he would get punished.3.) Identify the differences between ‘morality’ and ‘immorality’.

    Morality is conformity to the rules of right conduct; moral or virtuous conduct. Immorality is immoral quality, character, or conduct; wickedness; evilness.4.) Watch the following clip and describe the reasons why Governor Spitzer’s actions would be regarded as ‘immoral’.

    Because he didn’t think about his family and career and he didn’t think about anything.

    Journal 8

    1.) Watch the following clip:

    Scenario 1: You are on a train coming home from a day at the beach. The train stops at a station and a group a youths get on the train and start bashing an elderly ethnic man. You notice people getting off the train.

    Discuss what you would do in this situation.

    I would try to tell the gang to stop bashing the erderly lady and if they do not listen i would try to tell the people who work on the train.

    Scenario 2: You get a message from a girl that you are interested asking you to come over her house. When you get there a number of her friends are present and they say they are bored. One of them promotes the idea of going for a walk and causing a riot. At first you tell them “No way”. However, the girl you like states that “she will like you more if you go”.

    Discuss what you would do in this situation.

     I will try to convince her not to go out and cause the riot and if she does not listen i will just walk away.

    Describe what is a person’s ‘conscience’. The person’s good conscience wants him to do right  and the bad conscience wants him to do wrong. 

    2.) Watch the following clip:

    Describe how a persons conscience works in making moral decisions. Explain the relationship between religion and conscience. The person’s bad consciences wants him to rob the shop and his good conscience does not want him to rob it. Religion tells him to do good to others and believe in God and conscience makes decisions top do good or bad.

    Journal 5

    1.) Which countries have banned the Internet? China, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey Burma and Brazil are countries that have beened baned from the internet.

    2.) Describe what the following image is about? (Provide TWO websites to support your findings) This picture is showing a Chinese man infront of a Chinese flag and the picture represents that the internet in China is banned for example Youtube and Google news.

    3.) Provide evidence of at least FIVE sources (Websites, newspapers, blogs, videos ect) that discuss the reasons why these countries have taken such a drastic approach.

    4.) Discuss how you would feel if the Australian government banned the Internet. What privileges would you lose? (2 Paragraphs)

    I will very disappointed because the internet is the only thing that we need to connect to our friend and family, it would be hard to look up information that you want to know and  it would be hard to find it through books.

    The privileges that i would lose is talking to my family and friends through  social community sites.

    1. How will you organise your multimedia sales pitch? List ideas, think about how the entry document was presented.

    • we will use movie maker.
    • Make use of videos and images both created by ourselves and from alternative sites.
    • Make use of animations.
    • Record each member of the group talking about a particular topic that we are updating for Britannica.
    • Make use  of supplementary material, such as text books, and more……………………………..
    • Make use of new software to create an advanced and detailed map of Australia.
    • make use of the multimedia room at school.
    • make use of a pacing chart, project planner and a calendar

    Newspaper editors responsibility for the quality, accuracy and tone of their publication, or a section within it.Their main responsibilities may include:

    • deciding on which stories to run
    • interviewing and writing
    • editing other writers’ work
    • designing layout
    • meeting distribution and advertising target.

    The essential criteria for the newspaper editor is:

    •  They must be able to read
    • The must be able to read english
    • They must be able to speak english
    • They must know how they can structure a newspaper article.

    The desirable criteria for a newspaper article is:

    • They must know how to edit pages and articles
    • They must know what to edit in a newspaper article
    • They must know the context of the article.
    • They must have learnt how to edit an article before.
    • They must know their responsibilities.

    - Reporter-A reporter is a type of journalist who researches and presents information in certain types of mass media.

    - Journalist-Newspaper journalists, or reporters, source, research and write stories for publication in local, regional and national press.
    - Designer-The newspaper designer arranges the material on the newspaper.
